16 - 1/4 cup unsalted butter
17 - 1/2 cup whole milk, warmed

# Step-by-Step Directions:
01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease a loaf pan.
02 - Combine ground beef, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, eggs, milk, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, thyme, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix gently until just combined to avoid toughening.
03 - Form the meat mixture into a loaf shape and place it on the prepared baking sheet or press into the loaf pan.
04 - Mix ketchup, brown sugar, and Dijon mustard in a small bowl. Spread glaze evenly over the top of the loaf.
05 - Bake for 60 to 70 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
06 - Place potatoes in a large saucepan, cover with cold salted water, and bring to a boil. Simmer 15 to 20 minutes until tender.
07 - Drain potatoes and return to the pot. Add butter and warmed milk, then mash until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
08 - Slice the meatloaf and serve with mashed potatoes.
